Retention and Continuity

Once a KingsClean custodial team is deployed, we help retain and keep them for continuity in your school.

The custodial cleaning industry is a people industry. Average turnover in our industry runs between 100 to 300 percent annually. The KingsClean turnover rate runs only 10 to 20 percent annually. Our secret is no secret:

Fully Staffed. KingsClean will work with you to get you fully staffed to clean your buildings for health.

Transition from Temp to Full-Time. Within our short- and long-term staffing models, you have the opportunity to observe our temporary cleaning team members, their work ethic, attendance habits, and their adaptability to the changing work environment. After the first 6 months, you may offer a temporary team member full-time status in your department.

KingsClean leadership will work side-by-side with your leadership team when opportunities arise for staff improvements.

Training. KingsClean will fully on-board and train staff before they start working. Every team member attends the TKOS Training Camp, where they are given the knowledge – and the tools – to do their job. They learn more than brooms and mops. We teach about processes and safety, also. They learn the Whys and Hows of a system that is streamlined and cleans for health. After completion, every staff member receives certification and a diploma!

Recognition. Based on our measurement metrics (weekly visit log audits and inspection scores), we recognize and award team members for doing a good job and cleaning schools for health.

Supervision. KingsClean operates from regional offices across Texas, Missouri and Ohio. Supervisors guide our custodial staff in understanding their specific duties, along with the overall goals of cleaning schools for health. Our custodial team members are aware of the measurement metrics, which keep them focused on the process and on meeting our goals.

Helping our staff understand where we are going and that our goal is to effectively clean schools for health, while giving them the tools and metrics to focus on results, empowers our team members to be professional partners in our work.
